Kids do better outside!
Welcome to the Kids In Nature Network.
Being outdoors and in nature is good for us. It makes us happier, healthier, more resilient and more caring.
Over the past decades, childhood has changed. Kids have moved indoors as screens have replaced green places.
We act to empower, connect and grow a cross-sectoral movement that gets kids back outside. Join us.
In the light of the COVID-19 virus developments, many of the face-to-face bush groups and other nature play programs have been temporarily suspended.
However, recognising that being out in nature is good for our physical and mental health and that of children, we encourage everyone to continue to go outside and play in nature responsibly.
There are many simple and fun nature play activities you can do yourself in your backyard or local park. Kids In Nature Network will continue to share ideas and resources for activities.

Please continue to share your ideas/videos/resources with us, so we can share them far and wide. We look forward to hearing from you!
